Room linear robot
The new standard linear robot system especially for palletising applications ensures reliable and flexible loading and unloading of pallets. The drylin® room linear robot can lift a weight of up to
10kg and is thus our strongest room linear robot.
Application examples
Typical applications of our drylin® room linear robots
are pick and place, conveyor belt picking, sorting tasks, stacking tasks and,
of course, palletising applications in three-dimensional space. In most cases
the room linear robot provides the platform on which our customers build their application. In combination with a gripper or suction cup, picking tasks can be implemented very quickly.

Control system
igus Robot Control allows for simple, intuitive robot programming and
control, making it easy to get started with automation. The modular design makes it possible to control various igus
kinematics, such as delta robots.
The linear robot can be controlled via our igus® Robot Control with all its advantages.
The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software
is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform
operating concept and consistent communication services for many components
of a system. This reduces project planning effort and facilitates commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not a component of the part and can optionally be purchased from us. A master control system is not necessary.
If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem either.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually
with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve
motor control system. With this control architecture, you need per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system, which controls the coordination of the movement. You must then program the inverse kinematics for the delta robot yourself on your development environment.
The motor control systems are not part of the product and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.
Optional accessories
Cable set for 3-axis kinematics in 3, 5 or 10m, igus®
Robot Control for linear robots, other sizes available upon request or e-chain set
for DLE-RG-0004 available separately.
More information
In addition, further strokes of up to 3m are available as standard
and, after technical testing, also up to 6m and 20kg.
If you are unsure whether you can use the product as you wish, please contact us or use our linear robots configurator (Beta).
