Food-safe high-temperature filament, FDA-compliant
iglidur A350 is an abrasion-resistant, high-temperature filament developed for the food and packaging industry. As such, the raw material is compliant with EU 10/2011 and FDA food contact regulations and has the industry standard blue colour. It is temperature-resistant up to 180 °C, fire-retardant according to UL94-V0 and can be sterilised with superheated steam.
Tip: iglidur A350 complies with the fire prevention requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration of the USA (FAA) for aircraft interiors

For applications in the food industry with high application temperatures of up to 180 °C

When not to use it?

When high wear resistance at high temperature loads is required

Self-lubricating filament iglidur i180 
Components made from the 3D printing material iglidur i180 can be used universally for all types of wear parts, such as plain bearings, gears and drive nuts, as this material has also been specifically developed for moving applications. The higher wear resistance and higher temperature resistance (100°C over the long term) extend the range of application, especially for more dynamic applications with higher surface speeds.

The property profile is rounded off by the &#34;optical detectability&#34; often desired in the industry, i.e. the blue colour.

Fire-retardant high-temperature filament, ideal for the railway industry
iglidur RW370 is an abrasion-resistant, high-temperature tribofilament which was specifically developed for use in railway vehicles. As such, its fire-retardant specifications conform to UL94-V0 and EN45545. In addition, it has the maximum mechanical strength of all tribofilaments and a long-term temperature resistance of 170 °C, which makes it the material of choice for high-temperature applications.

High-strength filament for structural components or as a material partner for multi-material components
igumid P190 is an extremely strong and stiff 3D printed filament due to the reinforcement with carbon fibre. It was specially developed as a partner material for iglidur i190 for the production of very strong and at the same time friction-optimised components in multi-material printing. Furthermore, it can be used for printing stable structural components. Thanks to the high strength and high rigidity, as well as its low density of 1.25g/cm³, igumid P190 is ideal for lightweight construction with low material requirements.

iglidur® D | Low-cost material with silicone
In the development of iglidur® D, a very low price was at the top of the requirement profile. In particular, low coefficient of friction was required at high speeds in dry operation. This material containing silicone achieves low coefficient of friction in dry operation and runs with virtually no stick-slip.

The tribological properties such as friction and wear of iglidur® J UV are comparable to those of the very wear-resistant standard material iglidur® J. A special feature of J UV, however, is that the material was developed for use in permanent UV radiation.

With DIN EN 45545, the new iglidur RW250 material fulfills the strict fire protection requirements of railroad technology. In addition, the material formulation has been optimized for absolute wear resistance and offers very good running properties in many applications.

iglidur® F | Electrically conductive, highly pressure-resistant
Highest stiffness and hardness, in addition particularly conductive: when it comes to the electrical conductivity of materials, i.e. especially in applications where electrostatic charging must not occur, iglidur® F is the right choice. The iglidur® F is extremely pressure-resistant. At room temperature, they could be statically loaded up to 105MPa.

iglidur M260 was specially developed for use in harsh environments. In addition, care was taken during development to be able to use the material particularly well for injection-molded thick-walled bearings. iglidur® AB helps to reduce the level of bacterial contamination in bearing points that are difficult to access. iglidur® AB was specifically developed for applications in areas with high hygiene requirements. Often such applications are manually operated pivots (doors, medical furniture, etc.). The material reduces the level of bacterial contamination but - like all &#34;anti-bacterial&#34; materials - is not a substitute for adequate hygienic measures.

With iglidur® H3 there is a new material in the iglidur H family. H3 sets new standards with its high durability. This material is tougher than comparable materials and achieves a longer service life than iglidur H1. iglidur H3 was developed primarily for use in pumps and demanding media and shines with its low moisture absorption. 
 


iglidur® Z | Longest service life under extreme conditions - Wear-resistant &amp; impact-resistant even under high loads and temperatures
Highest compressive strength, coupled with high elasticity, gives iglidur® Z its outstanding properties in connection with soft shafts, edge loads and impacts. At the same time, the bearings are suitable for temperatures up to +250 °C.

iglidur® R | Low-cost material, low coefficients of friction
In the development of iglidur® R, the focus was on high performance and a very low price. In particular, low friction and wear values were to be achieved in dry running. Components made of iglidur® R are specifically supported by a combination of solid lubricants. The PTFE and silicone-free material achieves outstandingly low friction values in dry running and runs largely stick-slip-free.

iglidur® H4 stands for high load capacity, good abrasion resistance and good temperature resistance, when economic aspects are also to be considered. Temperatures up to +200°C, permitted surface pressure up to 65MPa, and excellent chemical resistance are only some of the essential attributes. Solid lubricants reduce the coefficient of friction and support the wear resistance, which has been significantly improved compared to iglidur® H2 , which are also very cost-effective.

Flexible and wear-resistant filament - iglidur i190
iglidur i190 is characterised by high wear resistance, as the material is enriched with solid lubricants. It can be processed on regular 3D printers, but a closed 3D printer is recommended. Due to its high wear resistance and excellent mechanical specifications (strength, toughness, coating adhesion), it is an all-round material that is suitable for most applications and 3D printers. Of all igus tribofilaments, only iglidur RW370 has a higher strength than iglidur i190. It can also withstand a long-term application temperature of up to 90 °C (after tempering the component).
