What is an e-tract DC horizontal?

The e-tract DC horizontal is an automated overhead cable guide system for high-performance DC and MCS charging cables, developed for electric lorries, coaches and buses. It enables safe, space-saving, and secure power transmission in demanding depot and charging infrastructures. It can be installed on trusses, canopies, hall ceilings or as a stand-alone system.

How does the e-tract DC horizontal work?

The charging cable is extended electrically and only lowered into the manoeuvring area when required. When not charging, the cable is fully retracted into the system. The cable and its connections thus remain mechanically relieved, protected and insulated from the weather.
