Krämer Motorcycles (KMC) were looking for light and maintenance-free bearings for their Supermono racing bike. The solution: iglidur plain bearings, which are used in the link, brake and shift system as well as in the footrests. Additionally, two igubal rod end bearings are used in the foot brake lever. In contrast to metal solutions, igus products are light and, thanks to their dry operation, resistant to dirt and maintenance-free.
