Bearing materials

All bearing points on drylin® drive units are equipped with lubrication-free and maintenance-free igus® high-performance polymers. Options include materials for applications subjected to high temperatures of up to +180°C (iglidur® X, SHT-ES series) and for FDA-compliant environments (iglidur® A180).

Lead screw clamp

In a wide range of applications, a clamping option is also required as an additional safeguard against unintentional misadjustment.

• Shaft clamping flange is attached to the position indicator for clamping of the lead screw
• Prevents the lead screw from accidental rotation
• Material: plastic housing with aluminium shaft clamp

Digital position indicator

The electronic position indicator (battery operated) for drylin® linear modules can be flexibly programmed for the individual thread pitch. Ideal for use with dryspin® high helix threads. LCD display with five digits and special characters, long battery life and easy battery change without disassembling the device.
