i.Cee EC.S - the new ultrasonic sensor for the e-skin® flat provides real-time condition-based information and maintenance recommendations for optimum overall system efficiency in the cleanroom.

All igus cleanroom products have been honoured with the 2021 REINER! Award has been honoured.

The smart ultrasonic sensor technology in this cleanroom highlight is used to continuously monitor the current sag of the e-skin® flat system. The SKF.S support chain is equipped with a defined bend radius and therefore also enables free-running lengths in the cleanroom. As soon as a critical condition of the energy supply system is detected, predictive maintenance recommendations are issued.

In addition, the connected i.Cee module allows numerous interfaces to overarching monitoring / IoT networks to be used to make the status information from the cleanroom available to the user / system manager in real time wherever it is needed. All information is aggregated in a modern dashboard, online or offline in the local network, depending on the customer's requirements.

    Energy chains in a cleanroom environment have to be particularly abrasion-resistant, as airborne particles above the strict limits specified in standards are released and can contaminate the room.

    Smart machine data acquisition as the basis for predictive maintenance concepts

    As part of the i.Sense condition monitoring system from smart plastics, all data from the i.Sense Wonderbox can also be analysed in the i.Cee switch cabinet module. This can then be used to digitally control the entire alarm and escalation management of the system.

    The i.Cee module also offers numerous integration options in predictive maintenance concepts. From preventive service management, which schedules regular maintenance depending on usage, to location-independent fault management, which immediately reports any unforeseen changes via various mobile channels. All information is aggregated in a modern dashboard, online or offline in the local network, depending on the customer's requirements.
