Successfully in use - Minimised friction in the ejection chute:
In this system, bottles are separated via a conveyor belt, checked and ejected as required. As the products are very top-heavy, they occasionally fall over during transport, which leads to a jam in the ejection chute. After the ejection chute was provided with a tribotape liner, the frictional resistance was significantly minimised and the containers were prevented from falling over.

Why lubrication-free? Liners in drylin linear guides:

The liners installed in the drylin linear bearings consist of tribopolymers that release lubricants over time as they move along the rail. This means that no external lubrication of the bearing technology is required, saving maintenance time and costs.

Successfully in use - Hygienic speciality liners in KHS filling systems:
In beverage filling, the liners in the linear stroke of this capping unit have been completely covered. For even greater hygiene, these have been replaced with drylin special bearings, which have a special rough structure on the outer and inner walls. This means that the bearings are washed completely.

The renowned Belgian brewery Chimay, known for its traditional Trappist beer, relies on lubrication-free igubal H3 spherical insert bearings in its bottling plant instead of previously installed metal ball bearings, which constantly rusted, damaged the shafts and led to machine downtimes. The change has enabled the brewery to increase its efficiency and reduce maintenance work.

In brewery plants for beer production, the bearing components used must fulfil various requirements such as high temperatures. The customer relies on plain bearings made from the FDA-compliant high-temperature material iglidur A500 to support the blades for slitting the spent grains.
